Due to be doing 100m2 of this soon. By the sounds of it I'll be advising a different product. Is it really that bad and should I avoid this potential headache?

    What looselay is it?
What condition is the sub floor?
What is the area being used for?

I have just installed 350m2 to a whole office. I found you need to trim everywhere as it tends to slide when heavy things are rolled over it.

The subfloor has to be perfect!

I would personally avoid if possible but I have only installed Forbo as my client specifies it regularly

I dont think anyone's installed this product without problems. It's not really loose lay either is it? From what I've heard even the manufacturer now tells you to stick it. What a joke

Not confirmed yet but was specified karndean loose lay. Subfloor needs ply and to marry up to existing flooring. I'll speak with the client and relay the feedback I'm getting about this product and perhaps offer a new alternative

I went on one that someone else did and it had lipped on a lot of corners... I went in lifted them, ground the floor then tackified and refitted.. Not heard anything from them since.. So can only presume they were happy with it..

Did you put down a levelling compound first?

It was a raised access floor, so 6mm ply & fully feathered.
