Is there some manner of laser light or similar device on the market for planning out perfectly straight lines for large installations involving full rolls of flooring?
I have an installation coming up with 60 meter corridor runs involving 3 consecutive rolls of plank type vinyl that need to be fitted perfectly straight.

I use a Bosch laser line. Gll380p. But max range is 30m and its not really any use at that distance.
For that sort of distance, I would think you would need a rotary laser, like the ceiling fixers use. Something like this maybe

Totally agree. When we used to fit pubs, we used a empty chalk line, to get the pattern on, no need for any thing else.

A laser is a great tool to have though, and for setting out, perfect 90`s etc there excellent. Also for pulling lines off ceilings

We also use them a lot for wall work, with wall cladding etc

String is easy to use. Great for patterns in long hotel corridors

Good skills challenge this is. You need laser and 1 helper with skills too. Fold the floor on half apply the glue and lay it slowly with checking the lines.
