Heard the other day some fitters (lvt) use tilemaster rapid 30 (very similar to a big producer calling theirs "300") smoothing compound.., and it seems to have top reviews.. Has anyone here used it., and apart from the price, how would you review it? I'm tempted to give it a go...
Thanks DM, as I said, only read good reviews.. (It's almost like they've copied the 300 formula).. Will certainly give it a go.
Do you know if a national retailer sells it? Once again this area seems to lack easy to get hold of sub floor products.. :-(
They're based in the North... Will get the yellow pages out tomorrow and locate a retailer in the area..
I've got a better idea instead.... only use leveling compounds by manufacturers who also make suitable primers dpms adhesives etc for what your installing ie stick to a system then your back is covered (if all is used correctly) I'm guessing anything made by a manufacturer for the tiling market ain't got a system for vinyls ?
