Can anyone recommend a adhesive to stick the capping and the sheet to a painted skirting I don't do a lot of this work I spoke to fballs and they recommended f66 but after speaking to another fitter he says it takes for ever flash of cheers
I wouldn't stick to a painted skirting, glue reacts with the paint and peels off over a bit of time rip skirtings off make good wall where needed with ardurapid then do as normal with f60/61, looks shite up skirts too.
I no where your coming from and that's what Iv suggested it's the decoration to 16 rooms as the measurement to the top of the skirts is 2.1 so would mean doing in 2 prices instead of 1
Just use F60. It will stick. Just might not stay on forever. We do work in a nursing home and stuck loads of sit on cove on painted skirts. Been on some rooms 5 years.
