Wtf.... Loved the moisture test Why can't large companies do some research and contact someone like the nicf, fits,CFA,floor skills and ask their advise for a simple diy demo.T.V programs are just as bad.
They can make as many of these, so called, DIY videos as they like for me ! At the end of the day B&Q are just dooming there unwitting DIY enthusiasts to failure which in turn will create more work for us professionals when it all goes horribly wrong, including the uplift lol
Watched the laughable self levelling video they did...mixing 1-2 kg of compound at a time...wtf...good luck with that !!
I think these guys must have taught the guys off DIY SOS last night, carpet was gonna need a taxi to get from the gripper to the skirting!! Programme always annoys me how they give plenty air time to "trades" but when the flooring guys come in, they get 5 seconds if you're lucky.
thats cos our job is sooo easy anyone can do it,we did a stint for diy sos the big build last year(not aired yet). took us 2 full days,bet were gone in a blink.
I think if I was to appear in a b & q video like that the only ppe I would need is a paper bag for over my head! If the two guys faces are going red in the video don't worry its not because of an allergic reaction to the screed!
