being karndean approved installer

    just want to know abit more about the advanced course, what benefits does it have, whats the cost and does it make me a approved installer if i pass

    yes it makes you an approved installer
    exposure to your customers
    Cant think of much else tbh lol

    It's not a pass or a fail ! Everyone gets a certificate of attendance that's all but customers like it !
    Although its always good to attend these training courses & you can learn alot No one is an expert after doing a three day course ! As I've said before I've talked to approved installers who know F all ! Defo worth doing though lol

    I had a pop at him saying not impressed with 'certificate of attendance' crap.
    any old cowboy can do it
    he said he won't pass someone if they can't do it...
    the advanced is pass/fail
    the normal one is 'attendance'
    make of that what you will lol

    that maybe sounded harsh after reading it back lol
    Neals a top bloke, i had great crack on the course and he likes making speciality tools! he has a curved border tool which was brilliant!
    which minds me, Ive got to put an order in for a strip cutter!

    I did the basic about 2 years ago and we had 2 builders together, a tiler, a guy who did all sorts of construction including driveways, then 3 floor layers. Interesting group.

    Thats good but you haven't centralised the mrd flooring in a couple of them :D

    Thinking of doing the karndean course myself but will probably do the amtico advanced first a I tend to sell spacia more than karndean.

    I was put on the basic course by an old company and enjoyed it. Picked up alot of tips. Wouldnt mind going on the advanced eventually. Really fancy going on a vinyl course as im not 100% confident with coving yet. Thinking of asking my boss to put me on 1 and i'll pay
