Had to swap the trousers for shorts and got some new janser soft knee pads. So much better than them sweaty trousers! Got the day off tomorrow but working the night. I think I'd rather do nights in this weather!

Try the Redbacks Daz, cost around 20 quid, they're a bit heavy but last forever.

I'm taking about knee pads when you wear shorts Sid. That don't dig in the backs of your legs.

I did a big screed on Monday with 300. You have to be very quick as it goes off fast in this heat. Tuesday had to get the grinder and feather out to sort a couple of ridges

i put down 4 bags today in 9 of our sub-floor prep bays ( so like doing 9 separate areas) . Was stretched for time so mixed it all up in one go. Was getting interesting by bay number 6 as it was starting to set . To make things worse i was tight on material so all gone down very thin.

And then, i stood back to admire my achievement and about 20 flies decided to go for a swim in it. Was not happy.

At least the carpets and vinlys are supple and easy to fit, trying to sleep is another matter altogether!
