Got to find some products to go on a gym floor. Took interlocking PVC rubber tikes round but don't think they are strong enough. Sub floor is painted to looking for a loose lay product The gym will have heavy lifting weights. Going Monday to see the place as he gets keys then. Anyone done anything similar?

Junckers you can get either direct or through havwoods same with the kahrs mate but mflorlock is distinctive only.
It sounds as if you want a gym floor for weights rather than a sports floor in wood, the weights will just dent a smash the wood,you want a high impact rubber tile, a thinner version than the play area one I used the other day would be ideal, it's ideal as it holds together with pegs. We do free weight area`s a lot. They are a big problem sound wise. Would there be any acoustic issues ? Normally we use 3mm vinyl on the main gym area, then we use 30mm rubber tiles, 1m square, on the freeweight area. I don`t supply them, but there about £50 each. They are interlocking, and there heavy as fook ! I have seen concrete floors smashed back to dust, regularly. In Bristol 80 sq. m of 100mm thick concrete, was vacuumed up, and dropped in the skip. It all depends how busy the gym is, and how much the freeweight area will be used. If its just standard gym machines, we have also used Gerflor Creation (click), good product, and up to the job

I did one recently. Wooden sprung floor for the studio, which need you for the impact. Carpet files in main gym area, interlocking tiles for the free weights area. You can get the tiles on-line. Smash them Together with a rubber mallet and spray a bit of solution on to make them go together easier.
Make sure you get enough permeter tiles and enough corners. I did 40 Sq/m with all 3 walls on the angle so the cuts were slow then the permter stuff, and the tiles didn't always go together very well, it was slower than expected. A nice square will go down quickly.
