You need to use a combination of experience and manufacturing guidelines in all situations. Experience tells me ps is not what to use in conservatories, just doesn't stand the test of time. Guidelines say ht and epoxy is recommended . I always go with the latter. I use ht over underfloor heating. A2trowel get right in there when it wet you can't beat it I'm telling you, mega transfer, that's what your after.
As I've said not had a problem, yet... used mapei ps on a large area (100m2) and found that it dried out quickly if there was a breeze running through...
Used to fit amtico stratica in banks . And loads of the time it would be in a window with direct sunlight and it was a must that we used amtico epoxy otherwise it would curl up . Seen it happen loads of times . Subbie Fitters would just lay it on acrylic to save time . If you used epoxy on the stratica it would set like concrete and stay that way.
Ive never used epoxy on an lvt when you are using it on lvt do you weight it down? I was always taught to weight epoxy with ply and sand bags with sheet stuck in epoxy or with lvt do you just lay into and leave to dry
Spacey lvts don't discolour from 27degrees ! It the direct sunlight that does it . I spent time in California and they love their amtico there , and the conservatories there reach into 40 -50degrees in summer with no probs at all. They just use blinds to block out direct sunlight.
Can't really weight it down mate just in case it squeezes through joins . Just need to do section by section and keep eye on it rolling it . Takes time to do but worth it. It's a bit like using ht but obviously open time is longer.
It will happen mate but only when it's direct sunlight, the uv rays bleach the colour of the tile . Happens with carpet ,vinyl etc.. Powerful thing them rays bud. U need to use blind ,blinds and more blinds. A customer of mine spend 5 grand on blinds in a very small conservatory just to stop furniture and flooring from discolouring. Mad eh !

Always used F46 in conservatories and always made the customer wait until Sept or the winter months to fit it. Never had a call back.
not that bad... they sent a couple of guys from up north that just go around the country pushing the jobs on if it's delayed... So, these guys turned up slapped everything down, site agent asked me to snag it before they left..ooops they left grumbling i made 'em change half the stairs as the tiles where short or pile direction wasn't right.. i'm not fussy tho..
