Hand held floor grinder

Looking to get one of these for removing high spots in screed or maybe removing adhesive.

Now is that a angle grinder? Because the ones I have seen have a cover on so not sure how they would work.
Anyone got a similar one? Can you post a link or picture.

This is like the type I hire, very good and you can attach the hoover to it.

 

I got one of these, connects to the hoover, virtually no dust.

be careful if you get the 110v though - you need a 32amp transformer.

Daz I've got the Eibenstock one like merit posted. I bought it from Refina a few years ago now and use it for just grinding concrete or removing bitumen.
I use it with a vacuum to keep the dust down.

If you wanted to borrow it to see if you like it just let me know.

That's not a bad price. Can you attach different discs? Or do you use the same one for sanding and grinding.

I think I paid about £290 for it but that was a few years ago. They must be about £450 now but like mine they are built to last.

 

They are pish Daz, made of polycarbonate case and when you hit a chip it will crack (£80 wasted)
