Alright guys I heard a another fitter tell someone the other day that his friend is registered with the NHS database for tradesman, said it costs £15 per month to be on there, was wondering if anyone has heard/been on it.
sounds like private health care? I have private health care and fully recommend. I have been pretty ill for last 6 months and been using our NHS service. Had enough of waiting for appointments etc over last 6 months so contacted my private insurance start of week. Well i have been docs in under week with xrays and alltypes. Basically more in last week than i have had in 6 months on NHS. Why didnt i go use private health care sooner? well, it has taken me 6 months to realize that sticking with NHS i will have another 6 months of messing around before anything happens. NHS is a joke.
o..... now i feel stupid........ come to think of it ..... it sounds stupid also. Guess they get enough people on there to pay for the floors they need fitting. Sounds like a rip of joke.
yep a salesman called into my shop a week or 2 ago ,they will put you on database its just advertising cost too much best form of advert is to do a good job at the right price ive allways found
Sounds simular to something a company I worked for looked into but found out it was for complete transparancy for government contracts to eliminate price fixing between contractors which still goes on today. The olympics budget springs to mind when are they going to learn it went from £42 millon to £84 million funny how its exactly x2. Like my father always said the higher up the chain of command someone is the more easily corruptable and bribable they are.
axia or something like that. dont know costs as through company. Its not a lot mate. Put it this way, i have had so far this week some mad xray that went on for 30 mins (a xray but different as it was like a xray that you could see what was going on etc. I had to drink some funky stuff. Basically nothing like a xray i have had before but still a xray ? ) One consultation with camera up me nose and what felt like 'all the way down to my toes' and tomorrow another consultation . Its weird, you simply get a next day specialist doctor that deals with what ever they think your issue is. If they dont find something wrong they pass you on to next specialist. But no delays. Not like NHS where you wait for months and 1 doctor that is supposed to try and know all about the human body. Guess swallowing that golf ball wasn't a good idea
That sounds a bit nasty mate. I will have to check a few of these companies out. I know bupa are expensive. The mrs has been down the hospital 7 hours today it's ridiculous. I pay monthly for loss of earnings and life insurance but my old man reckons I would of been better off with private health care
i really cant fault it mate. The fact that they give you next day appointments with specialists including xrays etc says it all. On NHS it takes me 2 weeks to just see a doctor let alone seeing specialists. my NHS Doctor said that private care is worth its weight in gold and him and all his family is on it. Says it all really when your own GP has private health care.
Just done a quote on it. http://www.bupa.co.uk/ You can pick different options but a choose going there for everything and not using nhs Works out £80 a month. I pay £40 now incase I do my self in and can't work again. Will look more into this.
