Woke up this morning to find scum bags had broke into my van and robbed some power tools they took my Roberts jamb cutter,dewalt cordless,a Bosch drill and are new jcb sds drill cheeky bastards routed though everything and left my cheap mixing drill and jigsaw spoke to the police and they said you prob won't be seeing them again
o no. Sorry to hear that mate. To late now but after many break in's to my own vans over the years i built a dedicated tool cupboard to protect the tools. Could mean that i could leave van open but anyone jumping in could not get to the tools. Also alarm on van has scared a few away. Well if its a help im trying to set up a discount with Bosch for our Trade members !

That's awful, mate, you got my sympathies there. At least you can rest assured that as we speak, some copper is donning his hi-viz jacket in readiness to spend the rest of the day bravely sitting in his f3cking car hoping to catch you doing 31 in a 30 zone.
Ye these are great. Downside is they are big and bulky so cant custom fit. Would guess you would still have your tools tho.
Another downside is if you bolt and weld it to floor be carefully if it's one with a lifting lid put it in with lid open before fixing as you need to fix Them slightly away from edge or you can't get it open
The person who did that was young at the time but has learnt his lesson and thinks about things more now
That sucks big time, sorry mate. Must be one of the worst things to happen to a chap working. I take nearly everything of value in with me at night, especially my tote bag, no real big value but having to replace all the little every day bits would be a pain.
