Ply over raised access

Ive got around 300sq. to ply, over raised access floor.
Normally I F3 & coil nail, and never had any issues.
I have heard some good things about the stand up screw guns. Does any one use them ? Any good ?

What does he use ? Quick drive ?
I heard about an epic fail using F3 which is why im asking.....

 

I've got a quickdrive,definitely a lot quicker

 

Im surprised its quicker. Is that just because there is no need for F3 ?

 

Did you buy one or just use it on a job ?
Will have a look, I suppose fixings cost comes into it to

 

Ive used the quick drive makita a few times and the senco. Easy work

 

Just a thought, what thickness ply are you using?

 

Cordless or corded ?

 

Its not my job, but I presume 6mm

 

In that case, the quickdrive might not be any use, screws might be too long, they were talking about making it useable with shorter screws a while back, but not sure if they've sorted it yet

 

One of the reasons for asking is the contractor had bought the screws for the job, and was surprised when I said I used a coil nailer.
I don`t know what screws he bought or any more details.
Will ask him Monday

 

Quickdrive do their own screws to fit the gun, i think the shortest is 30mm
