Anyone had to do this? Last time I did was for a firm I subbed to many yrs ago. I'm just looking at options to raise a subfloor 12mm before screeding it
That's what is making me a little para but... I have to screed 8mm minimum over the boards and heating mats according to the manufacturer when I spoke to them. I'll be using uzins 196. What method/materials have you used over an electric ufh mat?
Full stick backers boards with flexible tile adhesive Prime backerboards with Uzin 630 A light coat of Carpet spray adhesive will stick the matt down solid so it doesn't float up Then 8mm max coat of uzin 196 will get it in one hit Any feathering Use Uzin 888s
Yep all concrete. The mats I'm using is a 'sticky mat' system so hopefully no need for spray but we'll see I guess. Used pro warm system before but theirs wasnt a full sticky mat whereas Rayotec elite mat is supposed to be.
Trust me the spray will make a massive difference That tape ain't as sticky as it needs to be Also Carpet spray is none water soluble Works really well
Just a flexible rapid set tile adhesive I cant remember the last one I use Was in a yellow bag and worked really well
Then again not if it's only 12mm good old renovation 3240 or a weber? Sent from my Mi A3 using Tapatalk
Use a 10mm u notch trowel, less chance of trapped air beneath will give better adhesion, always prime. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Jesus Christ 5mm 6mm 7mm notch? Could of just screeded it up by now Sent from my Mi A3 using Tapatalk
