Finishing off the last phase of lvt to a customers house and they have asked me to level their garage floor for them. They are not sure whether to have it painted after or some rubber tiles so was wondering what you guys would reccomend as a wear coat and a prep base ready for flooring.

I used to have a metal shed with a concrete base which I flooded with stopgap 300, I never got round to covering it before we sold the house and moved but the 4yrs it was down it was perfect.

This being a customers garage I want to use the right product so what do you recommend?

Depending on what they are planning on using it for ,a lot of the conversion companies use insulation board with a floating chipboard floor

Been looking at the 800, just wondering if I could use something like cl and aggregate for the base as it needs some filling up then top it with the 800...

No, 800 has a higher compression strength

Cheers for that, I'll base it all with 800 to be safe.
They text me lastnight and they are going to be painting it.

Other option is Ardex use SD-T B to build up if over 10mm and K80 is the wear coat does the same job just check prices (we get the Ardex gear at a slightly better price) and yeah if it’s being painted you want a wear coat.
