Hi everyone, my names jordan I’m 24 from Hartlepool, I know what use are thinking (useless football team)! Iv been fitting carpets, laminate and lvt for the past 7 years. Started out for a local family ran business we’re I basically learned all my skills and knowledge in all aspects of flooring, took the leap start off last year and went self employed. Came across this site a few times when researching about flooring types, sub floor prep etc. great thing for the trade and just thought I would join and get to know you all and hopefully gain more expirence and skills. Thinking about doing a few courses this year also so if use don’t mind advising a few much appreciated thanks. Preferably lvt has that’s the direction the trade seems to be going in my area. Hope to hear from use and thanks for reading.
Welcome to the forum Jordan Nice to have you here I’m just up the road from you Most are jumping on the LVT band wagon these days It’s a bumpy road but very satisfying Always good to take in a few course to add to your knowledge and help you along the way

Seen a few of your jobs look great btw, I know most on this site have a hell of a lot more experience than me still just a young whipper snapper long journey from here lol. I like the look of the floor skills courses especially the response from everybody who has been on them. Iv uploaded a laminate job I done the other week just so you can see the standard of my work straight forward job really, tried to upload some of my lvt but it says file to big. Thanks for the reply.
